Broadway At Lyric: Steven Pasquale and Laura Osnes tackle Carousel

Carousel is coming to Lyric April 10 through May 3 — and its two leads are bringing a bit of the Great White Way to Wacker Drive. Steven Pasquale and Laura Osnes star as carousel barker Billy Bigelow and his true love, innocent millworker Julie Jordan.

Meet Mariachi Superstar Sebastien de la Cruz

The highly anticipated mariachi opera El Pasado Nunca Se Termina (The Past Is Never Finished) has its world-premiere performances at the Civic Opera House on March 28 and 29. These two performances feature Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, the world's greatest mariachi, and mariachi legend in the making: Sebastien de la Cruz.

Zofia Posmysz and The Passenger : A Survivor's Story

There are just 5 performances left to see The Passenger, called "deeply moving" and "heartbreakingly beautiful" by the Chicago Tribune. The opera is inspired by the real-life experience of Zofia Posmysz, a survivor of Auschwitz and the author of The Passenger in Cabin 45.
